Augustin Gensse (born August 10, 1983) is a French professional tennis player.
Gensse has played two singles matches in the ATP Tour series. It was in Spain (Open de Tenis Comunidad Valenciana). He defeated Gorka Frailin and Alan Mackie in the qualifications. As a qualifier, he reached to the second round of main tournament (won against James Ward, lost against Iván Navarro).
Gensse won fourteen singles and doubles trophies (among others title in 2009 Meknes Challenger). In 2011, he played 2 semi-final on Challenger Tour: Nouméa, and Marrakech.
Gensse played for the first time Roland Garros main draw in 2011 by defeated Marsel İlhan in the last round of qualifications (6–4, 4–0 wo). For his first game in a Grand Slam, he lost against Stanislas Wawrinka at the first round 4–6, 6–3, 6–4, 6–2. He reached in 2011 at Wimbledon the last round of the qualifications. He lost against Lukasz Kubot in 4 sets 6–3, 7–6(7), (4)6–7, 6–1.
At the 2011 US Open Gensse made it past the qualification rounds and lost in the first round of the tournament itself to Janko Tipsarevic in straight sets 6-2, 7-5, 6-0.
